Michael Stanczak
Mike is teaching pastor of Trinity Community Church in Libertyville, Illinois and the founder of Inheritance Academy. He received his Bachelor of Arts in English at Northern Illinois University and his Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is passionate to see the glory of God made known in Lake County and is grateful that he can be a part of a project like Inheritance. When he isn't working or chasing his young children around, he can be found reading, listening to vinyl, writing, gardening and fishing. He lives in Libertyville with his amazing wife Ashley and their children: Edmund, Lydia, Lucy and Theo, all of whom fill his life with joy, not to mention quite a bit of activity!

Judy Zemeske
Judy uses her administrative and management skills at Trinity Community Church by keeping the books and managing the facility’s needs with the never-ending scheduling of building and grounds upkeep. She holds a B.A. in Behavioral Science, a 30-hour certificate in Adult Bible Studies from Moody Bible Institute and has several years of work experience in the financial institution field. Her ability to find humor in most situations keeps her days speckled with fun. She and her husband have three children, two of whom are in college with the youngest just finishing high school.

Patrick Schwartz
Pat Schwartz is a retired corporate attorney Over his 32 year career, Pat served as counsel to several organizations including Sears Mortgage, Morgan Stanley, Household International and HSBC North America. He was a transactional attorney, specializing in capital markets financing, mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate governance matters. He served as General Counsel to several corporations, managing their legal functions and advising management and the Boards of Directors. Upon retiring in 2017, he joined the Board of Love in the Name of Christ of Lake County (Love INC) and served as its Board Chair for two years before becoming Love INC’s Executive Director where he led the effort to transform lives through offered assistance and the support to change the circumstances of those in need. He retired from that position in 2021 when he and his wife of 31 years retired to Naples, Florida.
Pat is excited about the education to be provided by Inheritance Academy as it will change the course of young peoples lives by exciting them about learning and creating life-long learners. Inheritance will help shape creative, discerning problem solvers and leaders who are grounded in a strong Christian faith. He asks, “How can we not provide this opportunity for our youth?”

Jennifer Burns
Jennifer is happily married to David and the mother of three boys – Ryan, Bradley, and Nicholas. She believes strongly that her life’s purpose is found in Galatians 6:9-10: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Jennifer is the Founder of and Head of School at the Classical Consortium Academy. She adores being in the classroom with her amazing students. Jennifer has her master’s degree in Marketing from Northwestern University. She feels honored that God called her to be part of the Inheritance Academy board.

Daniel Foote
Daniel Foote was born and raised in Pell City, Alabama. He finished his undergraduate with a B.A. in Pastoral Theology from Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, Alabama and he also studied at the Master’s Seminary in California. After seminary Daniel served as Associate Pastor in Luling, Louisiana for five years before moving on to the mission field. He and His family moved to Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala and lived among the Maya-Tz’utujil. There he worked in non-formal theological training with local pastors. After returning to the United States, the Foote Family planted a Spanish-speaking church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Since 2021, Daniel has served as Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Community Church in Wadsworth, Illinois. Daniel is married to Daphne and they have five children, Titus, Isaac, Chloe, Naomi, and Abigail, and one granddaughter, Ivy Rain.

manny mendoza
Manny Mendoza is a follower of Christ, a husband to his wife Lily, and a father of two - Bella and Judah. Manny serves as a deacon at Iglesia Emanuel where he also teaches and preaches. In addition to serving at church, he is a small business administrator. Some things Manny enjoys doing most are meeting new people, bike riding, and reading.

Dan MAc Kinney
Dr. MacKinney served as a high school teacher, coach, and advisor for 34 years at New Trier high school before coming to teach Spanish at Trinity International University. He has served for several years as a volunteer chaplain at the Lake County Jail and as a tutor and leader in children’s ministries in both Waukegan, IL and Kenosha, WI. He is the second of eight children, father of three, and the grandfather of five. Besides Spanish and Latin America, his area of study is single-gender education as it affects the development of boys from under-resourced homes.
